The City of Oak Creek this week unveiled a new city logo and marketing campaign to highlight the many positive developments building momentum in the municipality.
The logo and marketing campaign, which were created by the creative team at Milwaukee-based Savage Solutions LLC, includes a video that touts Oak Creek’s blossoming future.
“Our goal is to convey a real sense of the strong, growing community we have in Oak Creek,” said Mayor Steve Scaffidi. “We’re building for our future, and our new brand identity reflects that. I’m excited that we finally get to reveal all the great things we’ve been planning for both our current and future residents and businesses.”
The main features of the logo design include: a circle of community, the water of Lake Michigan and an oak leaf.
Oak Creek city is using the marketing campaign to attract attention to Drexel Town Square, the new downtown the city is building from scratch at the former Delphi site near Drexel and Howell Avenues. The city also is touting the city’s Oakview Business Park, its lakefront destination near Bender Park and the South 27th Street corridor redevelopment.
The city’s ambitious agenda was recently documented in a BizTimes cover story.
