Anna Strehlow is a physical therapist at Wauwatosa-based Froedert Hospital as well as a professional triathlete.
Her first triathlon was in 2018 at Steelhead 70.3, where she won her age group. By 2021, she was the first overall female at USAT Nationals – Milwaukee, 70.3 Blue Ridge, 70.3 Door County, Ironman Wisconsin and the USAT Long Course Nationals. In 2022, she was the first overall female at Ironman Lake Placid and went on to be third female overall and second in her age group at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
“Anna thrives in setting goals and achieving them,” said Heather Haviland, who’s worked with Strehlow for the past seven years as a professional triathlon coach. “As Anna grew in her hobby of triathlon, she did not want to give up her love of helping others in her physical therapy career.”
Strehlow volunteers as a representative for the local chapter of Girls On The Run and as a physical therapist at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
“She is guided by a strong faith and family. She believes in giving back to the community,” said Angela Sprau, CEO and owner of Mission Focused Success.
