Katie Muth began her career at Janesville-based JP Cullen in 2005 as a project assistant. She stepped into her current role as director of marketing in 2011, before the age of 30.
When the company’s Milwaukee office opened, Muth briefly served as interim director of business development before becoming the sole marketing staff member for the Milwaukee division. Her role expanded over time, and she now oversees a team of five, coordinating sales strategies with business developers.
“Katie has significantly contributed to JP Cullen’s health care division, by capturing work and strengthening relationships with major health care providers in Madison, resulting in an average annual revenue growth of 39%,” said Jeannie Cullen Schultz, co-president of JP Cullen.
Co-president George Cullen praised Muth’s role in the firm’s success: “She has a keen understanding of clients’ needs and offers innovative solutions.”
Muth is credited with standardizing processes, improving the company’s brand and training the construction staff to better serve clients.
Her leadership extends beyond marketing. Muth mentors her team, ensuring their professional development through quarterly check-ins and learning plans.
