Greg Marshall, chief storyteller at Milwaukee-based CI Design Inc., has had a long career in brand development and marketing and has left an indelible mark on Milwaukee, according to Ian Abston, founder of the Hoan Group and co-founder of Light the Hoan.
Marshall, who joined CI Design in 2011, has worked on several high profile projects including the Wisconsin Sports Awards with Good Karma Brands, Milwaukee Brewers commercials and the “It’s Aaron” project featuring former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and attorney David Gruber. His creative work has earned him numerous accolades, including three Emmy Awards, multiple Telly and Communicator Awards and songwriting honors, said Abston.
“With an impressive client roster that includes major corporations, nonprofits, and local businesses, Greg Marshall continues to shape Milwaukee’s brand identity and contribute to its cultural and social fabric,” Abston said.
Marshall has volunteered for a number of nonprofits, developing fundraising strategies and creative communication approaches for organizations such as the United Way’s Diversity Leadership Society, Hope Street and Light the Hoan. He has also collaborated with several local schools to strengthen their messaging.
