As senior vice president and chief operating officer at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Richelle Webb Dixon is committed to realizing diversity and equality in health care and the workplace, colleagues say.
“She takes pride in spearheading initiatives that help prepare the next generation to soar. She describes herself as a health care equality champion and compassionate leader,” said Kathy Thornton-Bias, president and chief executive officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. “Richelle has a rich history and commitment to diversifying the health care industry. As a mentor to many, she strongly believes that ‘to whom much is given, much is required.’”
Dixon has had more than 10 mentees nationwide and currently serves as a mentor to a group of individuals from Froedtert Hospital.
In addition to serving on the Boys & Girls Clubs’ board of trustees, Dixon is a founding member of Reaching Back as We Climb, a mentoring group that was started to ensure early-career health care professionals have an opportunity to learn from mentors’ experience.
