North Shore Bank honors alderman

Organizations:

When the North Shore Bank at 4230 W. Oklahoma Ave. in Milwaukee was robbed recently, Alderman Joe Dudzik chased down the suspects.

The bank held a community forum on crime prevention Friday to thank Dudzik and the Milwaukee Police Department and discuss recent business robberies in the Jackson Park neighborhood.

Law enforcement experts offered crime prevention tips and Dudzik discussed the available façade improvement grants that could improve the neighborhood.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Alderman Dudzik and the police for their brave efforts,” said Janet Dexter, district manager for North Shore Bank. “In addition to that, we want to bring the community together to discuss how we can make businesses and residents in the Jackson Park neighborhood as safe as possible. It’s more important now than ever to work together to find a way that we can all feel safe in the community where we live and work.”
