Norman Doll
President emeritus
Pieper Electric Inc.
As a civil engineer by trade, Norman Doll has been able to put his expertise to use for several organizations in the Milwaukee community and worldwide. Doll took on a leadership role in the construction of the Mequon Nature Preserve’s new Pieper Power Education Center. In addition to designing the center and managing the build, Doll also constructed all the cabinetry in the facility and helped with the daily labor, which was done primarily by volunteers.
Through his work at Pieper Electric, Doll was introduced to Heifer International, an Arkansas-based organization dedicated to ending world hunger and poverty, and to sustainability efforts.
Doll continues his work with that organization, as well.
In addition to serving on several boards of directors, Doll also teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He works closely with students in the Engineers Without Borders program to initiate water conservation and sustainability efforts around the globe.
