Nonprofit executives share social media strategies at BizExpo

BizTimes invites executives from southeastern Wisconsin’s nonprofit organizations to attend a seminar focused on technology and social media strategies for nonprofits.

The seminar, A Digital Mission: Technology and Social Media Strategies will be held on Thursday, May 17 at BizExpo from 3 to 3:45 p.m.
The seminar will feature a panel discussion with area nonprofit executives who have successfully utilized new media, social platforms and cutting edge technology within their organizations.
During the discussion the panelists will be asked to share experiences with social media platforms, ideas on what works best and what doesn’t. Leaders will also share insights on who is charged with maintaining the organization’s social media presence, how resources are dedicated to specific efforts, and whether or not actual ROI can be determined.
The panelists for this year’s discussion will include: 
Bob Glowacki, president and chief executive officer of Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin; Carol Voss, public relations and marketing director at IndependenceFirst and Matt Brown, MKE123 coordinator at the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee. 
The seminar will be moderated by BizTimes reporter Alysha Schertz.The seminars at the BizExpo are all free to attend and will cover a variety of topics, including financial planning, leadership, productivity, marketing, social media, sales, strategic growth planning, and technology.
