  • Friday, Jan. 20 Great Harvest Bread Co. of Delafield will host a fundraising campaign in conjunction with the Annual Delafield Pink Tie Gala event to benefit breast cancer and prostate cancer research.  They will be selling handcrafted bread ribbons for $2.00 each.  One hundred percent of the bread ribbon proceeds during January will be donated to the Think Pink cause.  Bread ribbons will be made the company’s signature Honey Whole Wheat bread. The Delafield Great Harvest bakery is open between 7:00a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.For more information, visitwww.greatharvestdelafield.com.
  • Thursday, Jan. 26 In honor of its seven year anniversary, Good Harvest Market in Pewaukee will donate ten percent of its sales on Thursday, Jan. 26 to six nonprofit organizations. Customers will get to decide which organization receives the donations. They can choose between NuGenesis Farm, Lake Country Free Clinic, Waukesha Land Conservancy, The Non-GMO Project, The Women’s Center and Wildlife in Need.  Good Harvest will also roll back it’s prices with a ten percent discount on all purchases as a thank you to its customers.   
    Good Harvest is located at 1850 Meadow Lane, Pewaukee. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
  • Thursday, Feb. 16 SummerStage will host its fourth annual “Break-A-Leg Gala” from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Seven Seas Grand Ballroom in Hartland just off Highway 83. This year’s theme is “Rock Around the Clock – A Look Back to the 50s and 60s. Highlights of the evening will include a raffle, silent auction, dinner, and live entertainment featuring local performers, and special SummerStage announcements.
    Cost to attend is $60 per person or $480 for a table of eight. Tickets for the event may be purchased in advance on line at www.Summer-Stage.org
