- Wednesday, Feb. 9 The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha will host it’s 18th annual Youth of the Year Awards Dinner at Madrigrano Marina Shores, 302 S. 58th St., from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The club will announce the 2011 Youth of the year as well as honor Larry and Linda Rasch with the Mary Frost-Ashley Patron Saint Award; and Mcternan Wireless/Mobile One with the Boys & Girls Club of America Helping Hands Award. - Monday, Feb. 14 Beauty hair salon will offer haircuts and blowouts to participating clients from 12 to 5 p.m. at its Eastside location, 1633 N. Farwell Ave. All of the proceeds from the days events will benefit the women of St. Catherine’s. In addition to these services, Beauty is also hosting a clothing drive which will be open to the public. Top stylists in the salon are donating their time and talent for the effort. - Thursday, Feb. 10 the Milwaukee Center for Independence will present a screening of the “Race to Nowhere,” documentary on American education from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Milwaukee Academy of Science, 2000 W.
