The Milwaukee area's industrial space vacancy rate dipped slightly to 7.4 percent at the end of the first quarter of 2008, down from 7.6 percent at the end of the first quarter in 2007.
Iron Horse Hotel to open in July
The Iron Horse Hotel, which is being built at 500 W. Florida St., Milwaukee, by developer Tim Dixon, announced recently that it will open in July, the same month that the nearby Harley-Davidson Museum is scheduled to open.
