Hotel and restaurant at former Pabst brewery to open in mid-April
Brewhouse Inn & Suites, the hotel that is under construction at the former Pabst brewery in downtown Milwaukee, and a restaurant in that hotel, will open in mid-April, said Ted Matkom of Gorman & Company, which is developing the hotel in the fromer Pabst Brew House and Mill House buildings northwest of Juneau Avenue and North 10th Street.
HSI plans East Side apartment building
Town of Brookfield-based HSI Properties plans to build a four-story, 87-unit market rate apartment building at 1887 N. Water St. on the East Side of Milwaukee.
Opus plans student apartments at MU
The Opus Group plans to build a six-story, 80-unit student apartment building at 1400 W. Wells St., adjacent to the Marquette University campus in Milwaukee.
Meijer to expand Pleasant Prairie distribution center
Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer Inc. plans to expand the 580,000-square-foot distribution center in Pleasant Praire that it acquired last year from Supervalu Inc.

The River Revitalization Foundation (RRF), Milwaukee’s urban rivers land trust, has closed on the purchase of an additional riverfront property on Riverboat Road with assistance from The Conservation Fund’s Land Trust Loan Program.

CenterPoint WisPark Land Company LLC, a joint venture of Milwaukee-based Wispark LLC and Oak Brook, Ill.-based CenterPoint Properties, plan to build a 471,403-square-foot industrial building in Pleasant Prairie for Taiwan-based Ta Chen International Inc.
