A new restaurant serving Mexican food will soon be located in Bay View in the former Bella’s Fat Cat location at 2737 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.
Ciervo Blanco is a joint venture between the property owners and the registered agent for the liquor license, Alyssa Moore. A late November opening is planned.
Alderman Tony Zielinski said Ciervo Blanco will be another high-quality development and dining option for the neighborhood, the 14th Aldermanic District and the city.
“The property has been vacant for many years and was in disrepair. The owners of the building are making a substantial investment to help bring a high quality restaurant to a great neighborhood,” Zielinski said.
The restaurant will feature a roof top deck for seating up to 120 people and there will also be additional sidewalk seating. The interior is being completely renovated and will have plentiful wood, copper, iron and natural stone finishes.
The menu will be a fresh/upscale Mexican cuisine using many locally grown products and providers. Initially, Ciervo Blanco will be open for dinner with plans for a weekend brunch starting shortly thereafter.
