A New Berlin manufacturer has purchased an industrial building in Pewaukee for $1.3 million, according to state records.
Swiss-Tek Coatings Inc. bought the building at N27 W23310 Roundy Drive from K.T. Cale Enterprise LLC of Pewaukee.
The building had been the corporate office of Sheffco Inc., a distributor of equipment, parts and services for coordinate measuring machines. The Pewaukee phone number for the company is disconnected. Calls to the Detroit office also did not go through.
Harlan Clinkenbeard, Pewaukee city planner, said he was unaware that Sheffco had closed or moved, but the city would not necessarily be alerted of such things.
Swiss-Tek is currently located at 16616 W. Rogers Drive. Peter Bartos, president of Swiss-Tek Coatings, could not be reached for comment.
