CHRIS ABELE and JEFF STONE emerged from Tuesday’s primary to compete in the April 5 general election to determine who will succeed SCOTT WALKER as Milwaukee Co. exec. Stone, a GOP state representative from Greendale, led the field with 43 percent of the vote.

PEDRO COLON, the former Democratic state rep appointed by Gov. JIM DOYLE, to the Milwaukee Co. bench, narrowly led the primary field, garnering 36 percent compared to April election opponent Glendale Municipal Judge Christopher Lipscomb, who got into the finals with 33 percent.
