NAI MLG Commercial to move HQ downtown

Organizations:

NAI MLG Commercial, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage firms in the Milwaukee area, announced today that it will move its corporate headquarters from Brookfield to downtown Milwaukee.

“We determined that downtown Milwaukee is the best location for NAI MLG Commercial’s office,” said NAI MLG principal Bruce Westling. “The energy there gives us a great springboard to all the markets we serve and enables collaboration between brokers, staff and clients in a fantastic environment. It gives us the best of all worlds.”
The firm’s headquarters is currently located at 13400 Bishops Lane in the Bishops Woods office park in Brookfield. The firm also has a smaller office in downtown Milwaukee office in a 4,000-square-foot space in the Riverfront Plaza building at 1110 Old World Third St.
NAI MLG, which has a staff of 35 employees, will consolidate its two offices into a 9,000-square-foot space on the top floor of a seven-story office building at 757 N. Broadway in downtown Milwaukee. The 102-year-old building, located northwest of North Broadway and East Mason Street, is owned by Dermond Property Investments.
“Our new space also provides us with room to grow,” Westling said.
“We think it’s a great space at the top floor of the building,” said John Malloy, principal of NAI MLG Commercial. “It’s centrally located right where many of our clients and their business partners, including bankers and attorneys, are located. There’s a great energy in that area of downtown that we believe we can tap into.”
The new NAI MLG Commercial office will open on Oct. 1.
NAI MLG Commercial is the only MLG branded firm that will be moving downtown. Other firms using the MLG name, including MLG Development, MLG Management and MLG Capital, are separate business entities and will remain in the Brookfield office, which occupies 10,000 to 15,000 square feet of space.
