Quarles appoints Grebe to lead national team

Quarles & Brady LLP announced that a new leadership team for its Corporate Services Group will include Michael M. Grebe as national chair.

The Milwaukee-based law firm also named Elizabeth Orelup as chair of the Corporate Services Group in Milwaukee and Michael O’Shaughnessy as chair of the Corporate Services Group in Chicago.

Grebe focuses his practice in the areas of general corporate law, corporate finance and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters.

Grebe is the son of Michael W. Grebe, president and chief executive officer of the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, chairman of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and former CEO of the Foley & Lardner law firm in Milwaukee.

Orelup represents lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers and other parties in commercial lending and leasing transactions, other commercial transactions and in distressed credit matters and bankruptcy.

O’Shaughnessy has experience in representing secured and unsecured lenders, credit enhancers and underwriters in commercial loan transactions, and buyers, sellers and private equity investors in mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
