Milwaukee private equity firm acquires Lannon pallet recycler

Blackthorne Partners Ltd., a Milwaukee-based private equity firm, announced today that it recently acquired the assets of Lannon-based JPRS New Way, a pallet recycling company.
The pallet recycling and reconditioning company, which has been in business for more than 25 years, has been re-named Pallet USA LLC.
Blackthorne says it believes there are numerous opportunities to increase sales and profits for the pallet recycling company.
“With the economy turning a corner, more goods are being shipped and demand for pallets is increasing,” said John Syburg, founder and president of Blackthorne Partners. “We’ll be making a series of investments in Pallet USA, LLC aimed at capturing these growth opportunities and building a competitive edge.”
