Milwaukee residents and visitors can tour the city’s 14th annual Holiday Lights Festival displays aboard the Jingle Bus now through Sunday, Dec. 30 for $1.
The 40-minute bus tours run Thursdays through Sundays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning at The Shops of Grand Avenue’s Center Court, 275 W. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. Each tour guides riders past downtown landmarks and parks lit up and themed for the holiday season. Park stops include Cathedral square Park, Pere Marquette Park, and Zeidler Union Square.
Milwaukee Downtown’s public service ambassadors lead the tours.
“Downtown Milwaukee is beautifully dressed with over 500,000 lights for the season,” said Beth Weirick, executive director of Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. “The Jingle Bus is a great, cost-effective way to get into the holiday spirit with family and friends.”
The Jingle Bus, a Coach USA bus, accepts riders on a first come, first served basis. The last tour each day takes off at 8:20 p.m.
Attendees can park in the structure of The Shops of Grand Avenue for $3 until 10 p.m. with their Jingle Bus ticket in hand.
