Milwaukee Cranes make Indy 500 appearance

Milwaukee Giuffre Brothers Cranes will be the official Boom Cranes at the Historic Brickyard racetrack, the site of the Indianapolis 500
“Being selected as a vendor to the World’s most famous race track is a tremendous honor,” said Dominic Giuffre, president of the crane sales, rental and service company. “When the announcer says ‘gentleman start your engines,’ our boom cranes will be there providing lighting, signage and general operations.”
Giuffre Brothers Cranes have been a local fixture in Milwaukee since 1963. Today, the company sells more boom towers to boom-truck contractors than any other truck company in the nation.
“We have racing in our blood,” said Frank Giuffre. “Dominic and I had an Indi racing team in the 1970’s and 1980’s, and we operated the Milwaukee Mile from 1983 to 1991. It will be an exciting moment when we see our signature red trucks throughout the race track.”
Giuffre boom cranes will be used at the Historic Brickyard throughout the entire 2010 racing season.
