Three Milwaukee companies have been nominated in the 17th Annual Webby Awards.
The Webbys, presented each year by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), honors excellence on the Internet and are regarded as the โInternetโs highest honorโ by The New York Times.
Local nominees include:
- Best Website: Government โ Milwaukee Police News (www.milwaukeepolicenews.com), by Cramer-Krasselt.
- Best Website: Social Media โ No One Deserves To Die (www.noonedeservestodie.org), by Laughlin Constable.
- Best Website: Law โ Foley & Lardner LLP (www.foley.com)
Two winners are selected in each award category, one by members of the IADAS, and one โ the Webby Peopleโs Voice โ that is voted on by the public. Online voting for the Peopleโs Voice award is open until Thursday, April 25, and can be found at pv.webbyawards.com.
