DO YOU PLAN ANY CHANGES IN YOUR COMPANY IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS? In coming months, we would like to focus on business solutions that improve overall productivity in addition to expanding employee benefits.  These changes will be in the areas of tool upgrades and workforce mobility, in recognition of rising fuel costs and providing the flexibility that employees desire.   We are actively working to expand our sales team in an effort to meet our next level of goals.

WHO ARE THE BUSINESS PEOPLE, LOCALLY OR NATIONALLY, WHOM YOU ADMIRE? AND WHAT TRAITS DO THOSE PEOPLE EXHIBIT THAT MAKE YOU ADMIRE THEM? Ken Iverson, the CEO who oversaw Nucor’s transformation from near bankruptcy to one of the most successful steel companies in the world.   He displays business, decision making and leadership characteristics that I appreciate in other business leaders, and that I strive for in myself.

WHAT IS THE OUTLOOK FOR THE BUSINESS CONDITIONS OF YOUR INDUSTRY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS? With the economy in a downturn, we are seeing many companies looking to control costs.  Many IT budgets are being restricted when it comes to projects that can’t generate a quick ROI, which impacts some of the projects related to life cycle management or expansion projects.  However, with rising fuel costs and travel expenses, we are seeing trends in IT spending that directly reduces costs or minimizes the dependency on travel.  Spending habits are changing to accommodate the environment; while some spending is slowing, other areas that have greater ROI are growing.
