The 200-room hotel would be built southwest of Wisconsin Avenue and Milwaukee Street, wrapping around the Johnson Bank building.
Davidson Hotel Company’s portfolio consists of 47 hotels with more than 13,300 rooms. Hotels managed by the company include the L’Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington D.C., the Embassy Suites in downtown Chicago, the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, the Marriott Hotel near the University of Illinois-Chicago, the Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables, Fla. and the Hyatt Regency Suites in Palm Springs, Calif.
“The upscale hotels and resorts that Davidson manages throughout the U.S. are known for exceptional customer service and attention to detail,” Carow said. “Davidson’s involvement is yet another asset for this project.”
