Gravity Marketing LLC plans to move its office by August into the massive Pritzlaff building at 305-33 N. Plankinton Ave. in downtown Milwaukee.
The building is owned by Franklin-based Sunset Investors. Kendall Breunig, the owner of Sunset Investors, has worked for several years on the redevelopment of the 260,000-square-foot Pritzlaff building, which is actually a series of connected buildings.
Breunig plans to redevelop the Pritzlaff building into 90 apartments, 41,000 square feet of retail space and 61,000 square feet of office space.
Gravity Marketing will occupy 3,000 square feet of space on the first floor. An additional 1,000 square feet of space could later be added with a mezzanine level, Breunig said, and the company will be able to add another 2,000 to 3,000 square feet of space in the future.
The only two tenants currently in the Pritzlaff building are Yes Men, and advertising agency occupying about 5,000 square feet of space, and Ancient Tree Underground Collaborative, collaborative of woodworkers and designers, occupies about 3,000 square feet of space, Breunig said. Both Yes Men and Ancient Tree Underground Collaborative moved into the building about a year ago.
Breunig said he wants to fill another 10,000 square feet of commercial space before he begins work to build the apartments.
