Paul Borawski, American Society for Quality (ASQ) executive director and chief strategic officer, was recently awarded the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives (CESSE) Leadership Award at its annual meeting in Detroit from July 15-18. Borawski received the award for distinguished excellence in the management of scientific and/or engineering societies, and for outstanding contributions to CESSE. His contributions include a new initiative to assist CESSE organizations in improving their level of membership satisfaction.
