William Renick, co-founder and president of Kenosha contract plastic manufacturer Xten Industries LLC, will be the keynote speaker at the Chicago Society of Plastics Engineers Educational Foundation‘s annual dinner fundraiser. Funds raised will go toward scholarships that support plastics education at high schools and universities. The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 at Holiday Inn, 1000 Busse Road in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
Avanti Safety Consulting LLC will host Earn Your General Industry OSHA 10-hr Card on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3 at Merrill Hills Country Club, W270 S3425 Merrill Hills Road in Waukesha. The course will introduce OSHA standards and several specific topics, like ergonomics, personal protection equipment and emergency action plans.
