WHAT HAS FUELED YOUR COMPANY’S GROWTH? Our branding campaign, started three years ago, brought us the tagline, "The Space You Want and The Experience You Deserve", and this has really taken off as the market expectations of a full service interiors solutions firm has grown well beyond what used to be an office furniture dealership.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO YOUR COMPANY’S GROWTH? The ongoing reduction in the number of corporate offices which choose to remain or move to southeastern Wisconsin.
DO YOU PLAN ANY CHANGES IN YOUR COMPANY IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS? We are restocking our expansive showroom (over 10,000 square feet) to more appropriately reflect the wide range of products and services we now offer including not only Haworth office furniture, but also a full line of architectural interiors products including: raised floors, moveable walls, underfloor plug & plan electrical and data systems and lighting.
WHO ARE THE BUSINESS PEOPLE, LOCALLY OR NATIONALLY, WHOM YOU ADMIRE? AND WHAT TRAITS DO THOSE PEOPLE EXHIBIT THAT MAKE YOU ADMIRE THEM? Tim Hoeksema from Midwest Airlines, for his vision and determination to do what is right sometimes in the face of pressures from the market to devalue his historical business proposition. Tim Sullivan, from Bucyrus International, for moving forward in such a large way, from a stable Milwaukee company to a world leader in their field.
WHAT IS THE OUTLOOK FOR THE BUSINESS CONDITIONS OF YOUR INDUSTRY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS? In spite of the national market being slightly down, we continue to grow our business locally based on the newer products and services we have begun to offer such as: raised floors, moveable walls and related services.
