Organizations:

The Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corporation announced that Gov. Scott Walker has appointed Lynn Sprangers, president and CEO of the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center for the Arts, to the Center’s Board of Directors.

The Bradley Family Foundation nominated Sprangers to fill the term of Matt Parlow, former associate dean of academic affairs for Marquette University Law School, who left Milwaukee for a teaching position in California earlier this summer.

“Lynn Sprangers is an extraordinary leader with deep roots and strong relationships in this community, and her talent and dedication will be assets as we embark upon the BMO Harris Bradley Center’s final and very special chapters of service,” said Ted Kellner, board president. “Lynn shares our commitment to preserving Jane Bradley Pettit’s memory and her generous gift to the State of Wisconsin, and we welcome her to the board.”

Sprangers has been part of the metro Milwaukee community since 1983 and spent nearly 20 years in broadcast journalism. She served as director of communications in the Office of the Milwaukee County Executive from 1994 to 2000, then spent the next 10 years in various executive roles with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. She was a member of the leadership team at Mount Mary University before taking her current position at the Wilson Center this summer.
