Lynch Motor Vehicle Group plans to build a new, 31,000-square-foot Chevrolet dealership at 10823-11011 75th Street (Highway 50) in Pleasant Prairie. Lynch acquired a 6.2-acre site for the dealership, and will demolish three homes on the south side of Highway 50 to make way for the project.
The dealership is expected to open by the end of next summer and will have about 40 employees.
The new dealership will replace a temporary Chevrolet dealership which Lynch opened earlier this year at 7650 75th St. in Kenosha, about three miles east of the site of the future dealership.
Lynch also has auto dealerships in East Troy and Burlington.
A BizTimes Milwaukee report earlier this year pointed out that several sites in the Highway 50 corridor are in play.
