The headquarters building for National Business Furniture in West Allis has been sold to an affiliate of Milwaukee-based LCM Funds Real Estate LLC for $9.2 million, according to state records.
The 67,000-square-foot building is located at 770 S. 70th St. National Business Furniture moved its headquarters and showroom there in 2016.
The building sits on a 10-acre parcel. The property is assessed at $6.2 million, according to county records.Â
70th Street Partners LLC, which is an affiliate of LCM Funds Real Estate LLC, purchased the building from National Business Furniture’s parent company, Stuttgart, Germany-based Takkt AG.
The building was previously occupied by C&H Distributors, another company previously owned by Takkt. Takkt sold C&H Distributors in 2015, but kept the West Allis building.
NFB’s previous headquarters was in a 40,000-square-foot space at the CityCenter at 735 building in downtown Milwaukee. Its showroom was previously located in a 14,000-square-foot space at the Shops of Grand Avenue and available to customers virtually. Its current showroom is 12,000 square feet.
