Nominations for the 15th annual Milwaukee Awards for Neighborhood Development Innovation (MANDI) are due Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The MANDI Awards recognize individuals, organizations, corporations and projects working effectively to improve Milwaukee’s urban neighborhoods.

The Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) Milwaukee chapter distributes the awards each year in line with its mission to revitalize and develop city neighborhoods as well as attract businesses and residents.

MANDI awards include:

*Northern Trust Navigator Award, which recognizes an individual who has acted as a “visionary” leader to unite a diversity of people and resources in sparking change
*PNC Trail Blazer Award, which highlights an innovative strategy to solving a community problem
*State Farm Building Blocks Award, which honors a real estate project that has a significant impact on the welfare of the community
*Brewers Community Foundation Public Space Award, which salutes the development or use of public space that adds to the development of the community

Nominations for any category can be submitted at More information on each category and eligibility guidelines can also be found on the website.
