David J. Frank Landscape Contracting hired about 25 employees over the past week, bringing its total number of employees to approximately 275, according to Mara Adair, director of marketing.

The positions are full-time opportunities, said Adair, adding that the company needs work done year-round in other areas, including snow plowing, holiday decorating and interiorscaping.

“We’ve been very fortunate that our business has grown pretty significantly on the commercial side,” Adair said. “Businesses are finally starting to come out of the recession and realizing it’s time to make a capital investment in their properties. There has been quite a bit of growth in business. More and more businesses are coming to the Milwaukee area, and they all want to make their mark and look successful. It’s hard to do that if they’re surrounded by an empty field or a very plain landscape.”

David J. Frank Landscape Contracting has six branch locations, and Adair said applicants are welcome to apply at any of them. The locations are in Germantown, Milwaukee, Brookfield, Glendale, Madison and Kaukauna.
