Lomira-based Kondex Corp. was recently honored with a Pillar of the Industry Award from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers for supporting its I Make America campaign.
“We are very pleased to be part of AEM’s I Make America campaign and to support their efforts in strengthening manufacturing initiatives,” said Kondex president Jim Wessing. “As we celebrate this award recognition, we also look forward to the future manufacturing advancements made possible through this program.”
I Make America is a national campaign led by AEM that aims to strengthen manufacturing policies and job creation. Its representatives and advocates take an active role in communicating manufacturing issues and opportunities to elected officials in an effort to create policies that will keep U.S. manufacturing competitive with other countries.
“I want to congratulate Kondex Corp. for achieving Gold-level status in our I Make America program for a third year in a row, representing their continued commitment to advancing pro-manufacturing policies in the United States,” said AEM president Dennis Slater. “We were thrilled that Kondex Corp. hosted a successful I Make America Harley Tour in Lomira this summer. We look forward to continuing to work with Kondex Corp. to help grow AEM’s advocacy efforts in 2015.”
