Since 1974, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin has played an integral role in education in southeastern Wisconsin. Through partnerships with a network of schools and businesses, it delivers hands-on learning programs that empower young people with the knowledge and skills they need to find economic success. Children in kindergarten through high school participate in Junior Achievement programs that teach financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Junior Achievement serves more than 70,000 students each year.

According to president Tim Greinert, the key to the organization’s success is the unique approach that he said, “allows students to progress in their core academic areas while experiencing real-life, hands-on experiences that bring relevance to these concepts.”

More than 4,000 community volunteers deliver these lessons in the JA Kohl’s Education Center, which features JA BizTown and JA Finance Park, interactive learning lab simulations.

Junior Achievement of Wisconsin continues to establish collaborative efforts throughout the state and is continuously recognized by Junior Achievement USA for its high level of efficiency and impact in the community.
