*Friday, Aug. 30, Fish Fry & A Flick returns to Milwaukee with a free outdoor screening of “The Avengers” at Discovery World, located at 500 N. Harbor Dr. The event, open to the public, will begin at 5 p.m. with a fish fry provided by The Bartolotta Restaurants, menu options from food trucks, and beverage specials for purchase. Food and beverage carry-ins are not allowed. The movie will begin at dusk, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Children are welcome early in the evening but are discouraged from staying for the film as it is rated PG-13. *Friday, Aug. 30, Newaukee and the Koss Lunar Series will feature music by DJ Romke. The weekly summer music series takes place each Friday through September from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the rooftop patio of the Milwaukee Athletic Club, located at 758 N. *Friday, Aug. 30, a beginning level salsa class will be taught at the Astor Street Dance Studio, located at 1228 N. Astor St. in Milwaukee. The class runs each week from 8:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. through Dec. 20. Cost is $5 drop-in per person, and no dance partner is needed. *Saturday, Aug. 31, through Sunday, Sept. 1, the second annual Third Ward Art Festival will put a variety of art on display in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward at the intersection of Broadway and Chicago Streets. The festival will feature everything from painting to photography, jewelry, 3D functional works to 2D art. The weekend-long event will also include live music, children’s art activities and food from area restaurants. The fest will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days and is free to attend.
