Milwaukee-based Jason Industries Inc. has acquired the manufacturing assets and customer list of Cleveland-based industrial brush manufacturer Herold Partco Manufacturing Inc.
The companies did not release the financial terms of the transaction.
Jason will begin manufacturing Herold Partco products and distributing them through the business unit Jason Finishing Group, which manufactures and distributes technical and maintenance brushes, polishing buffs and compounds.
Jason Finishing Group distributes the products under brands including Osborn, JacksonLea, Lippert-Unipol and Sealeze. The Herold Partco products will become part of the Osborn brand.
The companies expect to have moved the Herold Partco manufacturing equipment to Jason Finishing Group’s Richmond, Ind., plant by late March. They are working to assure the transition goes smoothly and customers continue to receive the same products.
Jason Industries, headquartered in Milwaukee, is the parent company of a global family of manufacturing companies in the seating, finishing, components and automotive acoustics markets.
