Tolls on the Illiana Expressway, the proposed $1-billion-plus roadway between I-55 in Illinois and I-65 in Indiana that’s being strongly pushed by Gov. Pat Quinn’s administration, could be two, three and even four times those charged on other Illinois tollways.
That means it could cost l $11.81 for an auto to drive the road’s entire proposed 47-mile length, and $58.13 for a 16-wheeler.
