Beloit-based Hendricks Commercial Properties LLC, purchased a 6,000-square-foot office building in downtown Delafield for $1.1 million.
The two-story building at 711 Wells St., was purchased from the Villard Company Inc. of Brookfield, according to state records. It is assessed by Waukesha County for $386,500.
This is the second time this year Hendricks Commercial Properties, an affiliate of Hendricks Holding Co. Inc., has made a purchase in Delafield.
In May, Hendricks purchased 12 buildings in downtown Delafield from Steinergroup Commercial Real Estate and Ace World Wide. The buildings are a combined 148,000 square feet and are on Wells Street and on the 600, 700 and 800 blocks of Genesee Street.
The company also bought the Delafield Hotel in June 2015 out of receivership for $2.5 million, according to state records.
The hotel and many of the other Williamsburg-style buildings in downtown Delafield, were built by Bob Lang of Lang Cos. Rob Gerbitz, president and chief executive officer, worked for Lang and was involved in a number of his development projects.
Gerbitz, who is now the president and CEO of Hendricks Commercial Properties, could not immediately be reached for comment.
