Franklin manufacturer sells building for $2 million, expands

gearMeltric Corporation sold its 36,000 square foot building in the Franklin Business Park for $2 million to a Chinese investor from California.

Meltric, a manufacturer of industrial duty plugs and receptacles, recently constructed and moved into a 90,000 square foot building less than a mile away in the business park to accommodate growth, said Mark Schnoll, a broker with Colliers International.

Meltric Corp., is the North American headquarters for Paris, France-based Marechal Electric Group.

Drew Sylng Liu, general manager of Cisko LLC, purchased Meltricโ€™s former building at 4640 Ironwood Drive.  The deal closed Oct. 5.

Schnoll and Jim Larkin brokered the deal for both the buyer and the seller.
