Former Jewel-Osco building in Waukesha to be sold at auction

Organizations:

The former Jewel-Osco store building at 925 Highway 164 in Waukesha will be sold in an online auction in June.

The 61,910-square-foot building was built by Menomonee Falls-based Continental Properties Company Inc. in 1999 on a 7.5-acre lot. The Jewel-Osco store in the building closed in 2007. It was replaced by a Sentry store, which closed in 2008. The building has been vacant ever since.
Jewel Food Stores Inc. still has a lease for the building that expires in 2019.

“Jewel vacated the property years ago, however they have continued to stay current on rent,” the listing states at www.auction.com.
