The Georgia-based developers have been planning to build a 236-unit luxury apartment building on the site at 11011 W. North Ave., according to plans submitted to the city in 2014.

The 50,000-square-foot site is located on the south side of North Avenue about a half-mile southwest of Mayfair Mall.

The firms are working on several projects in the Milwaukee area, including a 194-unit luxury apartment project in the Bishop’s Woods office park in Brookfield. Atlantic Realty Partners also purchased the former Gallun tannery site in Milwaukee to build a multi-building apartment development.

The Wauwatosa project, called The Reserve at Mayfair, will consist of a four-story building wrapped around a parking structure.

“The project is moving forward as we have already started demolition,” said Richard Aaronson, president of Atlantic Realty Partners. “We hope to have first apartments ready for occupancy in March 2017.”

This former service center, located on five acres, has been vacant since the first of the year when Hall moved to 704 Bluemound Rd, Waukesha. The center services Hall Automotive’s dealerships at 19809 W. Bluemound Road in Brookfield.
