Kirby Davidson has been named the new president and CEO of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a position he will officially assume in October upon the retirement of current chief executive Harry Argue. Davidson, 46, has been the Graduate School of Banking’s vice president of marketing and banker relations since January 2000. He previously held key marketing positions at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors in Washington, D.C., and the Iowa Bankers Association in Des Moines. He holds a degree in marketing from Iowa State University. Davidson has helped GSB grow from educating less than 500 students on campus each year to nearly 800 a year.
