Fairchild Equipment, in conjunction with the Waukesha County Business Alliance, will celebrate today the opening of its new Menomonee Falls facility and expansion into southern Wisconsin with a ribbon- cutting ceremony. The ceremony will take place at Fairchild Equipment’s new facility located at N52 W13821 North Park Drive.

Fairchild Equipment is a regional provider of materials handling, warehouse, construction and agriculture equipment. The company announced in October that it agreed to acquire the Hyster material handling dealership rights from the Heyrman family, owner of Milwaukee Engineering Equipment, in addition to acquiring the assets of Racine-based Schmidt Industrial Truck Inc.

The company’s newest facilities will be operated by Van Clarkson, president of Fairchild Equipment’s southern division. The new southern division will focus on the sale of materials handling and warehouse equipment solutions. Fairchild Equipment offers new and used equipment sales, rentals, service, parts and training.
