EMTEQ sees continued success with golf outing

New Berlin-based Emteq Inc., recently held its sixth annual charity golf outing to support the Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Fund.
The event was held at The Legend at Brandybrook in the Town of Wales. Last year, Emteq raised $92,000 for CAP, a program of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. According to Jerry Jendusa, president and chief executive officer of Emteq Inc., this year the company had raised nearly $72,000 just in sponsorships alone.
“We created a few additional sponsorships to give more companies the opportunity to help out,” Jendusa said.
Former Green Bay Packer defensive lineman Santana Dotson emceed the evening activities and served as auctioneer for the live auction and raffle drawings.
The annual golf outing is a company-wide effort, Jendusa said.
“We have a lot of opportunities available for our employees to help out even if they can’t golf with us,” Jendusa said. “It’s really a team effort.”
