Brady Corporation, Lowlands Group make contributions

Organizations:
  • Brady Corp. raised $50,000 for four local charities during its sixth annual Brady Walk for the Community on May 26. The money will be distributed in the form of grants to Cure SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), Tailwaggers 911, To Write Love On Her Arms and the Wisconsin Humane Society. Brady Corporation employees also donated more than 5,000 nonperishable food items to the Hunger Task Force.
  • The Lowlands Group raised $35,000 to be split among three local nonprofits during the grand opening weekend of its new Cafe Hollander restaurant in Mequon. Proceeds from all food sales and certain beer sales from May 20 to May 22 were pooled and will be donated to Milwaukee Riverkeeper, the Ozaukee Interurban Trail and Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
