Dickten Masch names Iraq veteran GM of Wisconsin ops

Nashotah-based Dickten Masch Plastics has promoted Carl Lider to general manager of its Wisconsin operations.

Lider is a recent veteran of the Iraq War, where he served as the executive officer for the PSYOP (Psychological Operations) Task Force in the U.S. Army Reserve. During his service, he earned the Bronze Star.

Lider has worked for Dickten Masch for 12 years. Most recently, he served as plant manager for the company’s Nashotah facility. He has also worked in quality control and production management positions, and is also a Six Sigma black belt, lean facilitator and value stream leader and trainer.

In his new role, Lider will be responsible for the production and logistics of Wisconsin operations, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s core values.

“My immediate goal is to apply my lean experience to our continuous improvement initiatives at DMP,” said Lider. “This will be very much a team approach that will position our organization for further success.”
