Dickten Masch acquires Indiana company

Organizations:

Nashotah-based Dickten Masch Plastics (DMP), a thermoplastics and thermoset manufacturer with metal stamping and assembly capabilities, has acquired Nyloncraft Inc., a technical plastics manufacturer based in Mishawaka, Ind.

Nyloncraft has built a reputation within the automotive and heavy trucking industries for its ability to create product innovation.
Nyloncraft will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of DMP. Nyloncraft will keep its name, organization and team at its headquarters in Indiana and at its facility in Jonesville, Mich.
“The two companies truly complement each other, making this acquisition a win-win-win for everyone involved – DMP, Nyloncraft and our industry-leading OEM customer base,” said Steve Dyer, president and chief executive officer of DMP. “Together, we’ll provide customers with broader, deeper technical solutions and competitive advantages – including multidisciplinary engineering expertise, highly automated operations and a strong manufacturing footprint in the Midwest and Mexico.”
The acquisition reinforces DMP’s position as one of the leading plastic component manufacturers in North America. Collectively, DMP and Nyloncraft will rank among the top 50 largest molders in the United States with combined revenues of approximately $175 million and more than 800 employees.
“DMP shares Nyloncraft’s passion for staying ahead of the curve and providing customers with innovative, world-class technical products,” said Jim Krzyzewski, Nyloncraft president and CEO. “Becoming part of DMP will expand our regional presence to a global supplier further enhancing the benefits we provide to our customers and our employees, now and into the future. We’re all excited to work together.”
