Delta Airlines is adding a daily nonstop flight between Milwaukee and Seattle starting March 9.
The flight will depart General Mitchell International Airport at 7:55 a.m. and arrive at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 10:25 a.m. Return flights will depart Seattle at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Milwaukee at 10:55 p.m.
Tickets for the round trip service will go on sale Saturday Nov. 5.
Delta is the third airline to add a nonstop flight between Milwaukee and Seattle.
Alaska Airlines added a daily nonstop flight between the two cities in 2014. Southwest Airlines also offers a nonstop flight service to Sea-Tac.
“This new service to Delta’s Seattle hub will give our travelers even more ways to travel to the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and beyond,” said Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele in a statement released Friday. “The new route also gives MKE travelers access to Delta’s international network from Seattle, including easy connections to Japan, China, and South Korea.”
Flights will be on 76-seat wifi-equipped Embraer ERJ-175 airplanes.
Delta is the second largest carrier at Mitchell International Airport.
