The 365,000-square-foot Shoppes at Prairie Ridge shopping center, located at the southeast corner of Highway 50 and 104th Street in Pleasant Prairie, represented by Mid-America Real Estate, has secured several new leases including JC Penney and Ulta. JC Penney’s 104,175-square-foot store will open on July 31 and Ulta’s 10,000-square-foot store will open on Nov. 2. Other tenants in the shopping center include a 126,000-square-foot Target store, a 50,000-square-foot Dick’s Sporting Goods store, a 19,686-square-foot PetSmart store and a 5,000-square-foot Maurice’s store. Mid-America Real Estate brokers representing the shopping center include Richard Spinell, Barb Kading, Dan Rosenfeld and Michael Fitzgerald. JC Penney was represented by Dan Cohen of Mid-America Real Estate and Steve Swanson of SRS Real Estate Partners. Ulta was represented by Peter Glaser of CB Richard Ellis. In addition, Mid-America is working on a deal for an Olive Garden restaurant to be built on an outlot at the shopping center, Rosenfeld said. That would be the first location in rapidly-growing Kenosha County for the popular Italian restaurant chain. The closest Olive Garden location to Kenosha County is in Racine.
