The Days Inn & Suites – Milwaukee Airport hotel was sold to an Illinois investor for $3.28 million, according to state records.

AGP MKE 6331 Milwaukee LLC, purchased the property from Parth Shaha, of Pleasant Prairie.

The 160-room, three-story hotel, at 6331 S. 13th St., has an occupancy rate of 54.9 percent. By comparison, the average occupancy rate for 29 hotels in downtown Milwaukee was 66.1 percent for the first six months of 2016, according to data compiled by Hendersonville, Tennessee-based STR.

In August, Shaha tried to sell the hotel in a three-day online auction with a minimum bid set at $1.25 million. It is assessed by the city of Milwaukee at $2.55 million.

The 103,449-square-foot building was built in 1967.
